## 1. What this service is
Ready Roadside Assist Now ("RRA") is a dispatch and matching platform. It connects a customer who needs roadside help with an independent service provider in its network — a mechanic, tow company, shop, business, or freelancer — and tracks the job.
RRA is a neutral intermediary. RRA does not perform the repair itself unless its own employee or directly hired technician does the work. RRA is not an insurance company, and these terms are not an insurance policy. RRA does not underwrite, sell, or issue insurance. See the separate Insurance and Rework Policy for provider insurance and rework rules.
## 2. Who may use it
You must be 18 or older to create an account, request help, or use member features. By requesting help, you confirm you are authorized to request service for the vehicle or equipment described, and you will give accurate vehicle, location, and problem information.
Emergency calling (911) and dispatch are not gated by membership. Navigation and other member features are members-only, as described in Section 7.
## 3. Acceptable use
You agree to:
- Give accurate information about your vehicle, equipment, location, and problem.
- Be present when the provider arrives, unless it is unsafe to remain.
- Follow the provider's safety instructions at the roadside.
- Use the app and site only for their intended purpose.
- Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that are not yours.
- Not post or send abusive, harassing, or unlawful content through any form, message, or inquiry.
RRA may refuse, cancel, or limit service, or suspend an account, for misuse, abuse, false information, or failure to follow these terms.
## 4. Services and scope
RRA covers cars, buses, trucks, semi trucks, trailers, RVs, boats, and more across the USA and Canada, subject to provider availability in the area.
Roadside scope rule: **NO engine repairs, NO engine removals, and NO transmission replacements at the roadside.** Roadside work is Quick Fix only. Major service is routed to the nearest appropriate shop (cars to auto repair, semi/heavy to diesel repair, boats to marine mechanics) as described in the app and site.
RRA does not guarantee a provider will be available in any particular location, at any particular time, or within any particular response time. Availability depends on subscribed providers in the area.
## 5. Dispatch — nearest subscribed provider first
When you request help, RRA sends the job to the nearest subscribed provider first, and tracks the job. If that provider does not accept, RRA may escalate to the next provider. Acceptance by a provider is not a guarantee of a result, a repair outcome, or a time of arrival.
You must approve any additional work or charges before the provider performs it. Work you did not approve is not covered by the rework promise in the Insurance and Rework Policy.
## 6. Prices and payments
- Call-out fee: $125. This applies to other vehicles and non-car-core work; the $65/hour car core-job rate below supersedes it for car core jobs.
- Mileage: $4.25 per mile after 10 miles for other vehicles and non-car-core work.
- Cars — core jobs (jump start, tire change, lockout, fuel delivery, battery service, winch-out): $65 for the first hour, $65 each additional hour, within 20 miles; $4.25 per mile after 20 miles. Car towing is separate — ask for a quote.
- Semi/heavy: $225 per hour, 3-hour minimum.
- RVs: $125 per hour, 1-hour minimum.
- Boats: $150 per hour, 1-hour minimum.
- Diagnostics: $99 for cars, $150 for semi/heavy.
Prices shown are RRA's listed prices. Taxes or fees added by the payment provider at checkout, if any, are shown separately at checkout and are not baked into the listed price.
Card payments are processed through Square. The app never sees your full card number — Square processes the payment. RRA does not store full card numbers.
Refunds: a completed service is charged as agreed at booking and dispatch. If you believe a charge is wrong, contact RRA at 786-470-0448 with your job/tracking details so it can be reviewed. Rework for faulty workmanship is governed by the Insurance and Rework Policy, not by this section.
## 7. Memberships and navigation
Navigation is members-only on the app and site. Membership service waiting period: 24 hours after joining. Your account is approved after payment is confirmed (48 hours in the current approval system), and service begins once both the waiting period and approval are met. If the two ever conflict, the Memberships page controls for service waiting, and this section controls for account approval.
Emergency calling (911) and dispatch stay ungated and are not subject to the membership or 48-hour rule.
Membership prices, terms, and renewal rules are as stated on the membership page at the time you buy. If there is a conflict between this summary and the membership page, the membership page controls for that purchase.
## 8. Providers — independent contractors, own insurance
Every provider, business, company, mechanic, technician, and freelancer who accepts work through RRA is an **independent contractor, not an employee, agent, partner, or franchisee of RRA**. Providers are solely responsible for their own taxes, licenses, permits, equipment, personnel, and compliance with towing, consumer-protection, and other applicable laws.
Providers must carry and maintain their own insurance at their own cost, including commercial general liability, commercial auto/tow insurance, and workers' compensation where required by law, plus garage keepers / on-hook / cargo insurance where they tow or store vehicles. Per-equipment minimums, proof-of-insurance requirements, suspension for a lapse, and the provider's indemnification of RRA are set out in the Insurance and Rework Policy, which forms part of these terms for providers.
Providers must give RRA a certificate of insurance at onboarding and again on request or renewal. A lapse, cancellation, or non-covering policy means suspension or removal from dispatch until coverage is restored and proof is provided.
Ready Roadside automatically takes 25% of each completed job; the provider keeps 75%.
On member jobs, the provider keeps 75% of what the member paid and Ready Roadside takes 25% of what the member paid. Example: if a provider sets a $100 tow price, the member pays $80, the provider keeps $60, and Ready Roadside takes $20.
## 9. Customer responsibilities
As a customer, you are responsible for:
- Accurate vehicle, location, and problem information.
- Being present when the provider arrives, unless unsafe to remain.
- Following the provider's safety instructions.
- Keeping your own vehicle insurance current.
- Approving additional work or charges before the provider performs it.
- For rework: reporting faulty work within 72 hours, and bringing the vehicle or equipment to the provider's location — see the Insurance and Rework Policy.
## 10. Rework — summary
If a repair done through RRA was done wrong, report it to RRA at 786-470-0448 within 72 hours of the original repair, and before having anyone else repair the same issue. RRA will contact the same provider, technician, or freelancer who was liable.
Rework labor is free. The customer must bring the equipment/vehicle to the provider's location — no exception, and no mobile rework visit. Parts for the rework are covered if the customer presents the original parts receipt; if that receipt is lost, the customer covers parts costs. A rework order is free only for an issue diagnosed by the technician or service provider as faulty workmanship on the same specific work originally done. Other issues, or issues that are not the same specific work, are not covered and are charged as a new job. After 72 hours, the rework promise expires.
The full rework rules, exclusions, and provider insurance rules are in the Insurance and Rework Policy. If there is a conflict between this summary and that policy, that policy controls for rework and provider insurance.
## 11. Liability limits
- The provider who performs the work is responsible for their own work, including any injury, damage, or loss caused by their negligence, faulty workmanship, equipment, employees, or subcontractors.
- RRA is not liable for injuries, damage, or loss caused by a provider, including to the customer, provider, passenger, bystander, vehicle, cargo, or property, except where RRA itself directly caused the harm through its own negligence.
- Except where the law does not allow it, RRA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from a provider's services, including loss of use, lost profits, missed appointments, or cargo delay.
- RRA does not pay insurance claims, medical bills, or property-damage claims on behalf of a provider or a customer, and does not guarantee a provider's insurance limits or that a provider's policy will pay any particular claim.
- The rework promise in Section 10 is the customer's remedy for faulty workmanship under RRA's policies, and it does not replace any legal right the customer has directly against the provider.
Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under applicable law, or any liability that cannot be limited by law.
## 12. Changes to these terms
RRA may update these terms. The updated version will be posted on the app and site with a new effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms.
## 13. Contact and disputes
Questions about these terms, a job, a charge, or a rework request: contact RRA at 786-470-0448, with your job/tracking code if you have one.
If a dispute arises, contact RRA first so it can be reviewed and, where appropriate, mediated between the customer and the provider. Helping to mediate does not make RRA liable for the provider's work. These terms are governed by the laws of Alabama, except where another law is required to apply.
